A Hamster’s Home

An impromptu visit to the pet store led to the surprise purchase of our little fella, Skatoli. While researching what hamsters need to live a healthy life, we were appalled by the products readily available on the market and decided to take matters into our own hands. We wanted to build a castle for the little guy—complete with everything a hamster could want or need. His home includes plenty of space for burrowing, a sand area for bathing, a wheel for running, and multiple levels to explore, all scattered with enriching snacks. He loves his home, and it was such a fun project to work on.
